The Samani E-125 was a dual-face digital wristwatch manufactured by Samani in Japan.

Incorporating 2 watches, the E-125 featured a calendar capable of telling the day, date and month and four buttons on each watch. It was available with either orange or blue borders for the two watch faces and advertisements for the timepiece were in various locations aboard Sevastopol Station.

Orange E-125s were notably used by Ellen Ripley and Arthur Dallas in 2122 aboard the USCSS Nostromo. Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda Ripley, also used an orange E-125 on December 11, 2137 aboard the USCSS Torrens and, later, aboard Sevastopol Station.

In reality, however, the real Samani E-125 worn by Sigourney Weaver in the 1979 movie Alien was a specially built prop centred around a pair of Casio F100 digital watches.

At Kinness, we have recreated this timepiece for cosplay and casual use. The watch features all the usual digital Casio features, but with the added benefit of dual time zones, so if you’re heading to or from a mining job in deep space, you have the benefit of being able to keep track of local time, as well as your home time. The watch differs from the original black model and is coloured in a more space-age-looking silver finish with monochrome buttons, an orange frame, and a black PVD-coated steel strap. The watch’s construction allows easy access to the rear for cleaning and maintenance purposes.

(Kinness does not guarantee that your ship won’t be boarded by Xenomorphs, and any warranty claim involving damage caused by a Xenomorph will be declined)
